SENSORY ROOMS

 Origins Academy at The Woods Corp. and Origins Natural Learning Childcare Ltd. believes that effective learning environments do not just happen; they are a product of a planned and thoughtful approach to learning that reflects the skills, needs, and interests of the people that occupy them. Part of their inclusive approach to learning values the environment as “the third” (an additional) teacher. For this reason, their organization has graciously extended its philosophy to sponsoring a sensory room at Unlock Your Mind Mental Health Conference.   

Our sensory space is available to and can benefit everyone but can provide extra support to those living with or experiencing symptoms of sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, or other types of neurodiversities. With both a stimulating and calming environment, we aim to meet the diverse needs of our delegates for the duration of the conference.
